Year 5 completed their Santa Fun Runs in aid of Katharine House Hospice today.
Despite the rain they all had fun taking part in lots of different relay races. They all wore Santa hats provided to them by the Hospice.

All our KS2 Cross Country teams competed in the North Oxfordshire Finals at Sibford School today, Friday 26th November.
Having to contend with really miserable weather our runners all showed great determination running against their peers from schools from Banbury, Warriner, Bicester & Kidlington partnerships.
There were approx 90 competitors in each race from 11 schools.
Team Results:
Year 3 & 4 girls finished 4th
Year 3 & 4 boys finished 9th
Year 5 & 6 boys finished 6th
Year 5 & 6 girls finished in 1st place and are NORTH OXFORDSHIRE CHAMPIONS 2021
Congratulations to everyone who represented Bishop Loveday today - your behaviour and attitude made us all very proud - you are all superstars!

Our Year 5 & 6 Hockey Club members represented Bishop Loveday at the Banbury Area In2Hockey Tournament this week.
Joined by teams from Hill View, Harriers, Orchard Fields & Hanwell Fields we played a round robin tournament with games umpired by Sports Leaders from BGN.
It was a lovely morning with some great teamwork on show from all schools. The School Games value was Self Belief and this was demonstrated by players with their ‘never give up’ attitude.
BLS finished in 2nd place after 2 wins, a draw and a defeat to eventual winners Hill View.
The team have qualified for the North Oxon Finals in March. Congratulations to all our players, who showed tremendous courage during the event, we are extremely proud of you.

Banbury Area Cross Country results are in and didn't we do well!
The year 3/4 girls team finished 2nd.
The year 3/4 boys team finished 4th.
The year 5/6 girls team finished 1st.
The year 5/6 boys team finished 1st.
Overall Bishop Loveday finished in 2nd place by just 2 points behind the winners. Congratulations to Hill View who are the Banbury Area Cross Country champions.
Due to these amazing results all our teams have qualified for the North Oxfordshire finals next term. Lots of time to practise between now and then.
