Some of our Year 2 children had a lovely morning at the NOSSP All Stars Cricket Festival.
We took part in lots of activities that focused on the cricket skills: throwing, aiming, batting, bowling & running.
Lots of other local schools attended too and it was led by BGN Sports Leaders with the support of Zoe Pugh from Oxfordshire Cricket Board.
Thank you to Rory Mawn from NOSSP for organising the event.

Some of our Year 4 pupils had a lovely morning at Wykham Park Academy this week.
We joined schools from: Deddington, Hanwell Fields, Queensway and The Grange and Sports Leaders from WPA. They all took part in an orienteering festival with each small group led by the secondary school leaders. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and demonstrated School Games Values of passion and self- belief throughout the morning.

The Year 5 and 6 pupils from our netball club attended the first ever NOSSP Bee Netball Friendly Festival this week.
The focus was on skill development within game play and the players were encouraged to self umpire, with the help of their school adults.
So lots of honesty was on display when rules were 'broken' from all teams - congratulations!
Schools from across the NOSSP area attended - from Kidlington, Deddington, Hanwell Fields, Hill View, The Grange, St Leonards & Hardwick school. It was fabulous to see so many players trying their best.
2 wins and 2 losses for Team BLS - well done girls, you represented Bishop Loveday with wonderful manners and sportsmanship. We are very proud of all of you.
A special mention to Issy W who was awarded our player of the festival for showing such teamwork, determination & passion - three very important School Games Values.
Thank you to Elissa, who prepared them for the event and supported the girls on the morning.
Our Year 3 and 4 football teams had a wonderful football filled morning at BGN this week.
We took five teams to take part in the BGN family Football Festival and were joined by teams from St Josephs school.
There were some fabulously close games between our teams and with the School Games Value of RESPECT it was really lovely to see the children cheering on each other, thanking the officials and shaking hands with the opposition at the end of every match.
One of our Year 4 boys team and our Year 4 girls team won their respective competitions.
Congratulations to all our players and a special mention to: Antony, Huey, Eadie, Oki & Seb who won awards for showing amazing RESPECT.
