  • Banbury Area Tag Rugby Tournament

    Published 15/10/21

What a fantastic morning we had at BGN at the Banbury Area Tag Rugby Tournament.

Our squad of 12 Year 6 pupils were so pleased to be back playing inter-school sport. They demonstrated fantastic determination and teamwork during the matches and showed respect for their opposition and the referees. Thank you to Mr Mawn, our School Sport Organiser at BGN, for running the event with an able team of Year 8, 9 & 10 sports leaders. We finished 3rd overall with some draws a win and a defeat against a strong Harriers team. Well done everyone - we are extremely proud of all of you.

  • Sports Leaders

    Published 06/10/21

Our Sports Leaders for this year had their first event last week - our intra school Cross Country competition.

They took to their new role brilliantly - leading warm ups, marshalling the course, leading our KS1 pupils and running with the less confident children.

Well done - it’s going to be great having you to work with this year.

  • Cross Country Event

    Published 06/10/21

It was fabulous to be able to hold our first Intra School Cross Country event for over two years!

The sun shone for our KS2 runners, as they competed with determination and encouragement for others.

The KS1 pupils had traditional cross country weather to contend with as the rain came down later in the morning. However, this didn’t dampen their enthusiasm.

Congratulations to all runners and thank you to our Sports Leaders who did a brilliant job helping the event run smoothly.
