Attendance and Absence
At Bishop Loveday our school vision is to be kind, be honest and have courage to live’ life in all its fullness’ (John 10:10). These values permeate all aspects of school life enabling us to help every child achieve their full potential by equipping them with a feeling of self-worth, a respectful attitude towards others, an excitement for learning and an enthusiasm for life. We equip children with the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary to be able to make informed choices about the important things in their future enabling them to lead happy and rewarding lives.
This is a successful school and your child plays their part in making it so. We aim for an environment which enables and encourages all members of the community to reach out for excellence. For our children to gain the greatest benefit from their education it is vital that they attend regularly and your child should be at school, on time, every day the school is open unless the reason for the absence is unavoidable.
