About Us
Our school is a popular voluntary-aided school with approximately 400 children, located in the village of Bodicote.
At Bishop Loveday School there is an aspirational vision – for all children to achieve their personal best, through a challenging and inspiring curriculum. Children explore the world around them; ask questions, solve problems and find answers. Children have an extensive range of life experiences that provide opportunities for them to become confident and independent young people, who thrive on challenge, and are motivated to learn, equipping them to be a lifelong learner and empowering them to achieve success in the future.
I am extremely proud to lead a team that is committed to children's well-being, achieving high standards and providing the very best opportunities for all in our care. Staff, supported by governors, work hard to deliver a rich and challenging curriculum; to prepare children for future education and to help them acquire the skills and enthusiasm needed to embrace the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life.
We are part of The Warriner Multi-Academy Trust and, when the time comes to move to a secondary school, our pupils are guaranteed a place at The Warriner, ensuring we can provide inclusive education from age 4 – 18.
We work within the Christian environment and believe that the strong links with our village church, St John the Baptist, are beneficial to the pupils at Bishop Loveday.
Bishop Loveday Vision
- To deliver excellence in education and achieve the very best outcomes for children and staff so that they can achieve their fullest potential
- To work in partnership with our families and the community to provide an education that embraces academic rigour within the wider framework of spiritual, physical, intellectual, emotional, moral and social development and enables our children to flourish
- To prepare children for ‘life in all its fullness’ (John 10:10)
